Bluetickers
I have been watching the board and refraining from posting to some of the junk on here that has been posted. Well i have decided to post my thoughts, as a overall breed we maybe lacking some things in the breed in some lines but the answer is out there if we look outside are own little groups or clicks or lines or what ever you want to call it, and man up and really evaluate what is on the end of your leash be honest with yourself it will only be help you in the future. Call a slick a slick and be honest with yourself, if somebody ask a question about something and you do not know anything about it keep your mouth shut and don't be thought of as a fool better to be quiet and thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt. lets make the best better the best way to do that hunt them hard and evaluate the results, cull the ones that don't meet the grade, and move on don't keep them because they go back to old horn blower and he was a good un pedigree are only good if they are accurate, throw them papers in a drawer some where and if old blue make a good un then dig them out and look at them.

Yep
good post but still people are human the same as hounds are just dogs. Opinions will allways vary, i like fords and have good luck with em and my brothers chevy all the way and i cant convinse him they suck even though i drag him around all the time. I have hunted enuff of the different lines but prefer smokey river and i think its because they were bred in this area for so long. I believe lines may adapt just the same as all animals. Crap i just removed all douht lol

But if some of these folks looked at the dogs abilities rather than the dogs Pedigree, "how would they ever sell a dog?"

I have noticed one thing over the years....When you call a spade a spade you are in the wrong. It seems I get under peoples skin most of the time because I am truthful and often call things as I see it. Until people start making crosses based on ability they will get what they have always had and most of the time it's junk. GOOD POST!
Another thing is a lot of people don't really know what it's like to have something with natural ability or what a real coon dog is. A lot of people will go thru life not knowing. JMO
