He has about 50, one each GrNt/NtCh. That number should increase pretty soon. I have three in my yard that will win. I've been pleasure hunting instead of running the hunts. Also, know of a couple more that are ready.

Well glad he'll be a little closer now. I haven't hunted with his pups yet. But I did hunt against him at B&T Days one year when Josh owned him. He was loud and a nice treedog.

Steven Gambel would be the answer. He is the breeder of Tex, Rachel(Tex's dam), along with her sire and several more. So many that I don't want type them all. Steven can give you all the background info that you need to know about Tex's bottom side.

Thanks Bryon! I've only seen Tex one time. That was the day that I bred Dee to him. I think he looks like a B&T should.

Thanks everyone for the comments on Tex. Kenneth and I both saw something special in his pups and thought that he was not getting a fair shake in Texas. We are both looking for and breeding for pups that can win at a national level. We believe that Tex is doing his part to put this in his pups. However it is no shock if you look at his pedigree. His sire Gr Nt Ch Hagood's Iron Mountain Drum is a littermate to Gr Nt Ch Ragin Skipper and Gr Nt Ch Bear Branch Bonnie. They were sired by Nelson's Northern Rex. (Who needs no introduction to anyone). Sired by the only UKC World Champion Buck II.
On the bottom side Rachael is a full sister to Cane whose dam was Dual Ch Bad to the Bones Minnie Pearl who is a full sister to Pkc All Time Winningest Black and Tan Female Bad to the Bones Sally. Also have Tennessee Jar and Setum Up Ace in there. What all this means is that it should come as no surprise that Tex is throwing pups with the tools necessary to win because his pedigree is full of them

Tex is in Senatobia,MS at this time and will be moving back and forth between MS and SC. If we can help you in any way let us know. Thanks again. Steven
