Illionis coon hunters?

Looking at an opportunity to do some pleasure hunting in Illionis in a couple weeks but i am confused on the season dates and zones. Correct me if i am wrong to hunt the southern season which runs until feb. 15th i can still be in zone 4 but must stay south of highway 36.

ANYWHERE SOUTH OF RT 36 IS THE SOUTHERN ZONE WHICH GOES OUT FEB 15 THEN THE 10 DAY LAW GOES IN TO EFFECT

10 day lay up.

Once the season closes we are not allowed to run dogs for 10 days. 1 way you can run dogs during the layup time is enter a licensed night hunt. Coon clubs in IL schedule hunts during the layup and enjoy a pretty good crowd :-).
