skinny/thin coon{michigan}???
notice every coon shot out lately, has almost no fat!
have they used up all there winter fat already?
a month ago they were as fat as butterball turkeys!!
anybody else noticing this?
if late jan. and feb. are cold months, they are gonna have a hard time making it
I have been seeing that with the younger coons, but older coon are still fat.

A few but in general younger coon may still be growing going into the colder weather and can't get by as long without grubbing up something to eat . Also why they may move when the older fatter ones aren't . Haven't been working it to hard lately but got a big coon about a month ago that made me wonder why he wasn't heavier for his size .
Caught one Friday night that was fat as a late October coon. But he was a big boar. Like Larry said, the younger ones have thinned out alot.
