Water races at Illinois State Championship

We are starting to get things finnalized for the Ill state UKC state championship and are thinking about maybe having a sanctioned water race and field trial, just wandering how much interest there might be out there for it and if you would be interested in entering, you can reply here or email me at deepwoodsenglish@lycos.com

thanks mike, we are trying to get it worked out, the hunt will be may 31 and june 1 at the hillsboro club, we just were wanting to find out if there would be much interest and hopefully we can get it all worked out, don't know but we are thinking of just doing them on sat and just show and hunt both days. thanks for your input mike and all your support you have showed us in the past as well as in the future im sure

the hunt is may 31 and june 1 at hillsboro which is about 20 miles north of greenville (i believe is exit 45 on interstate 70)

We would be very interested as well. Adding a water race would definitely bump it up to the top of the list of events we would like to try and make with 3 to 5 entries.

Guys this should be a great event. This is some of the best hunting around anywhere. Motel is only 4 miles down the road and we will have camper hook ups available on club grounds. Jim is working real hard to make this hunt, show, and water race a successful event. We met yesterday to discuss alot of things and we believe this is going to be one of the events you will want to attend.

bobby its not just me that is going to make this a great event but everyone involved, from the state officers to the club officers to the guides and judges for the hunt to the officals of the show and hunt and water races and even the good folks that attend and support the event. we as an association try to put on good,honest and enjoyable events for all the houndsmen and houndswomen that come and support our events

yes mike i do remember you we only got to chat for a couple minutes but i remember you to be first rate and we really enjoyed you and your family at our event and look forward to seeing you again, we are going to have an all day event again this year for the youth championship also

Jim, I sure was not taking anything away from anyone with my post. I know there are several people involved to make all this happen. I was just pointing out that you are working hard and making alot of calls to get things in order.

coooool love to watch them dogs swim after that ole coon . I pesonally dont let my dog in the water due to hunting around the river dont want to teach them to go in .. BUT they are fun to watch . Hope to see ya
