The Plantation dog food a lot of hunters fed around here was back in the 90's. Was about $6 a fifty and was a mix up bag of guess what's in the bag when you opened it up. lol. Plus side was you could feed about 2 cups of feed to a 60 pound dog, any more than that and they would get fat. Everyone around here still talks about how they wish they could get some more of it now.

our local coon club actually buys it in bulk. I personally dont feed it but the members of the club love it. they say they dont feed as much and aint a big mess in the kennel either

Plantation Dog Food

Plantation Dog Food was bought out in the early 2000's by a Virginia based dog food co. and is one of the largest selling sporting dog food brands in va and nc and is sold across the eastern U.S. It is one of the best dog foods and most consistant that I have ever fed. I would recommend it to anyone.

Been feeding Plantation for 5 years now, Good stuff, I buy hafe ton at a time so my price may be on the low end if you just buy 50 to 100lbs.

Price depends on the type ofcourse. I pay 19 for 22/16 i think it is. Was feeding southern states complete sport which is also real good but only forty pound bags for twenty one bucks. Plantation is the real deal and the owners are also hunters.

Hey toejam. Go to the plantation website. The guys number that distributes it is on there. I bought a garmin system from him and hes a real giod vuy to deal with. Im sure he can tell ya who sells it in your area. Take care.

does anybody know what blend of plantation would be close to pride in the black bag??? im payin $25 a bag for the black bag right now it was $19 to $20 a couple years ago when I fed it and Black Gold was $25 a bag its probably $30 now

Don't waste your time!!! My dogs became bloated, fat and lazy. Switched back to diamond high energy and seen instant improvement in days. This feed has to much corn in it. My local farm supply off brand farm dog feed nets better results at $15 a bag lol
