if my house burned to the ground would the government appropreate money to cover my expenses? no. if your house flooded because of rain or hurracane would the governement appropreate money to cover you financial hardship? no, no even if a coupld of your neighbors were flooded too. so why are the people in sandy hook so worked up about the govenement doing a katrina move on them? even the municipalities are required by law to have insurance against catastrophies. i say it's all about politices. one party wants to be seen as the hero and the other party wants to hold them back to keep them from gaining votes. am i right or what?

If you live in a state that voted red during the presidential election your screwed . Here in west Virginia we got a big snow storm off sandy like a foot of snow peoples power was out for days something like 55000 people , then the flooding was unreal when it melted , our governor earl ray tomblin asked for FEMA assistance to those in need from the federal government and was denied without hesitation , back in June we got a series of bad storms that wiped out like 1.4 million peoples power same thing no FEMA assistance granted . You set and think about the elderly people and people on oxygen machines and what not that suffered for weeks ? Obama could care less , but if the power was off in Chicago he'd hot wire it from another city to keep that bunch of no goods a/c a blowing !
