Moving to BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA!!!

Me the wife and the baby will to be moving to birmingham in two weeks because of my job, I have a place i can stay for a couple weeks if necessary, but really need a place to rent where i can keep some hounds and chickens...

if anyone knows of a good place for rent like that (preferably to the north of the city)please let me know...

Also looking for anyone with decent dogs that would like to do a little pleasure hunting... I hunt mostly plotts, but i'm not oposed to hunting with any hound that will tree a coon in style...

My family has a cabin and private boat ramp on lake guntersville so any one wanting to tree some of them coons on the islands up there sometime I'm up for that too!

Look up Jamie Perrin in Birmingham. Hunts black dogs and has lived there his whole life. I'm sure if anyone would know of a place to rent he would. I think he might be on the north side of Birmingham. He's a master of hounds so his number should be listed there. You won't find a better guy!

Just looked it up and he is a Master of Hounds and his number is listed on the website. Listed under J L Perrin Jr.

gardendale is just north of bham and is a pretty nice place as long as you dont rent in the ghetto, no offense.... jasper is 45 mins nw of bham and cullman is awesome but its about 45 mins to an hour from bham. i live in jasper and work in bham. pretty smooth commute until you hit the junction of 20/59 and 65. pleanty of hunting opportunities just north of bham. you got the forest and wmas but i cant think of the names of them right now. good luck on your move and be careful traveling. i assume you will take 20 all the way across? there is construction thats been going on for a while now and there is always a state trooper somewhere so be mindful of that as well.
