That's the problem with how they "figgure" tax cuts.

They don't count the increase in revenue that came about because of the cuts, just like they don't count the decrease in the revenue that doesn't come in because of a tax hike.

For example, they will say the Kennedy tax cuts "cost" so much money, say 5 billion, but in reality revenue went up 15 billion so the tax cut actually increased revenue. Instead of costing 5 billion the tax cuts generated 15 billion but they will still say they "cost" 5 billion because that's the amount that cut was for.

By the same token they will say a tax increase would generate 5 billion even though it actually ended up harming the ecnonmy and we had 15 billion less in revenue.

That's why projections are useless. You can't predict how much a tax cut will stimulate the economy and you can't predict how much a tax increase crashes the economy. We just know that tax cuts stimulate and tax increases devastate economies.

We havent had a good president in a long time.Im not a bush fan and Im really not an Obama fan.
1.The politicians should have to live by the laws and regulations they pass.They retire they should live off s.s. and obamacare.
2.All these expensive trips to other countries,whats that got to do with running our country.If my employer is broke hes not going to send me on a expensive business trip.
3.Obamas vacations? Let him take as many as he wants,the more time hes out of the white house the better off the working class is.He should have to pay for them,I pay for my vacations.
4.His assistants.I bet we would be surprised at how many people work at the white house just cleaning and cooking for them.1 maid 1 cook.theyve only got to keep up with 4 people.
5.Cut back on security.It would make him a better president.He wouldnt want to piss anybody off that way.
6.My employer just told me our health care is going up 40% in the next 2 years.Thats what Obama calls not taxing the middle class.

Not just picking on Obama this stuffs been going on for a long time.

Look this is all what Obama wants. Don't you get it? He has NEVER seen a tax increase he didn't like.

He just LOVES to spend OTHER PEOPLES MONEY. Just don't ask him to spend HIS money. Look at his tax returns. Before he ran for president I gave more money to charitable donations with my measely income than he did making over 200 grand per year. Then after he started running for president he still didn't give that much 4-8% (much better than his 1% before that for which the actual dollar amount I gave on way less than 1/5th of his income was MORE than he did).

Then let's just look at something else. He is all the time saying he believes "rich people" should "just pay more" in taxes. "They can afford it". Well let's see if he actually believes this or if he just thinks EVERYBODY ELSE must pay more EXCEPT HIM. How can we do that? We can look and see that yes indeed, he itemized his tax return. Oh well, so much for that. He didn't have to do that. He could have filled out a 1040 short form and not itemized and paid more in taxes. Somehow he felt it was OK for him to itemize but not other people. Hypocritte to the highest degree.

Make no mistake, he WANTS to go over the cliff because he is just salavating at how much he can increase taxes on EVERYBODY and then blame it on Republicans. Otherwise why would he insist on being irresponsible and wanting tax increases with NO SPENDING CUTS? Cause he WANTS to go over the cliff that's why. THen he can be responsible for a huge tax increase and blame it on somebody else.
