heated dog box

i'm planning to heat my dog box. i'm still in the planning stage but i want to run water from the heater hoses to the bed of the truck. from there through a vehicle heater core and into the box. last night i got the dogs back and they were soaked in cold water. they didn't seem to mind too much but were shivering. they like riding to the woods with their heads out the push to open viewing doors. but after hunting when it's cold they never over the doors. i think i'll be only the only dog man with a heated box.
