Can an owner withdraw a dog? If the handler dissagrees.

Always looking for new questions and this is one! Can you be a bit more specific? Are you referring to withdrawing during the course of the hunt or otherwise? Reason I ask is because during the course of a hunt an owner tagging along is nothing more than a spectator. Technically speaking, judges don't take calls from their spectators. At least I've never seen a judge accept a strike or tree call from a spectator, even if it was the owner of the dog.

In any case, it seems hypothetical at best. Furthermore, if HL tells me to withdraw, regardless of any ruling, I'm withdrawing that Black horse pronto-like!

That's my point. You can bet on that if I make up my mind it is time to withdraw my dog then ... WE ARE GONE PERIOD..... don't need to ask nobody not even Mrs Dianne, only one Captain on this ship and WE ARE GONE.

HL,

If I'm your handler then we're reading the rules from the same page and I understand them clearly.

Have a great New Year and keep them boys straight.

life is just to complicated for such easily answered questions. Down here in our neck of the woods, that decision would be a real easy one to make indeed.

After the fact, you just have to ask her if you are sleeping inside or out
