Wisconsin
Alright, so most people in the state know about the 2 organizations in the state, The WASDC or Wisconsin Sporting Dog Associaton and the WCHA or Wisconsin Coon Hunters Association.
The WASDC helps us dog owners fight for our rights to have dogs. They attend meetings held in madison to show the people our side of things. I believe Corky Meyer is still doing this for us, not sure if he "retired" yet.
To help out Corky they raise money for governors cup and other hunts for his expenses.
The governors cup that you will see is held at clubs who are members of the association. If your club is not a member then you can always join a club who is. I believe this is how its still set up. They host these governors cup and every dog entered in the show and hunt $5 goes to the kiddy. At the end of the year they have a show and hunt off to determine who all gets the money.
The next meeting for this event and election of officers will be Feb. 9 at the Wilton Rod and Gun Club in Wilton.
Governors cup as of now are- Plymouth Apr. 20, Arthur May 4th, Milton June 14, Wilton June 28, Valders Aug. 2, Highland Aug. 16, Amherst Sept. 6 More to come once the clubs figure out there date.
And the Benefit Hunt for Hunter's Rights is in Wilton on Aug. 24
Any questions for the WASDC call Randy Shaw at 608-377-1783 I believe or Vicki Perkins on here, her name is UMBIE

Now the WCHA is a non profit organization who helps out families that have children that go to the children's hospital. If ANYBODY has a loved one that needs help paying bills get ahold of Dennis Roehrborn and the WCHA will try to help them out the best it can.
The WCHA is responsible for the Red, White and Blue Classics; the state youth show & hunt and the Purina event (Badgerland)
This year the Red hunt is Mar. 9th at Valders, White at Berlin May 18th and Blue is June 29th at Amherst
The State Youth Show and Hunt is held at Brooklyn June 1
The Badger State Purina Event is going to be held at Highland June 21-22
The Banquet is Jan. 19th at Millhome supper club in Kiel
The Red, White and Blue Winner Procedures go:
Hunt
1. most WCHA points
2. most cast wins
3. most overall wins
4 UKC tie breaker procedure
Point system
1st 600
2nd 595
3rd 590
4th 585
5th 580
all the way to 10th place at 555 points
Show
1. most WCHA points
2 most placings
3. highest placing
4. overall wins
5. tie
Point system
1st 500
2nd 495
3rd 490
4th 485
5th 480
You do not need to win your cast to get points. Goes by the highest 10 dogs for the hunt but cast winners first. Ex. 1st place cw 775+ 2nd place cw 600+ 3rd place cw 500 4th place 725+ not a cw 5th place 575+ not a cw
hopefully that helps

Bernie meyer said it is gunna be at marshfield on the jan 19 so it don't cause any problems, with it being put in bloodline already
Ya i just talked to randy shaw and he said the meeting jan. 19 and there will be a show and awards given away at that time. but the election of officers is at wilton in feb.
reason being is because of the wcha banquet and we dont want to pull people between clubs. one thing is this year were working together more to help both organizations and our local clubs.
The WCHA is always looking for coon hunters in the state with children who have problems when they were younger and have trouble paying the bills. Either pm me or email dennis roehrborn and we will try to help everyone we can. Thank you and have a happy new year!

We will be there for the show no matter what
i'll take the guide with a canoe with a snowblower infront!!
!!?
light rain all day today with roughly 10 mph winds
last night gr. cast scored 1 coon Todd Roberts won that with carrie, night champs Bruce Schooley (Hillbilly) won it with Reggie with 1 coon scored, reg 1st place was Scott Vandehuevel with Heather and we scored on 5 coon, 2nd place reg was Jody Koehler and they scored on 3 coon
so the coon were out and snow went down some, from valders the further east and south you go the deeper the snow around valders was about knee deep last night and to the northwest of the club wasnt bad at all-ankle to knee
