Skunks

I'm thinking bout shooting skunks when I see them at night for extra furs, how do I get rid of the stink so I can get close enough to skin them out.

If you wanna make money off of skunks the money is in their essence nit in their furs. Yeah you might make a buck or two of the hides but the essence is much more valuable. But in order to maximise your profits you need to harvest the skunk without it spraying. Which means either gassing them or catching them in a conibear, not shooting them. There is a video out there that I believe can be purchased from Nitelight detailing how to make money on skunks.

Dawn dishwashing soap

The fur buyer that I go to said, mix hot water and Dawn in a 5 gallon bucket and dunk them in several time and it will not smell anymore.
