B&T pups

I recently got a black an tan hound bout 15 month old female. She is ukc reg an a good lookin hound but she has alot of tan, the inside of her ear is tan. The guy seemed like a good guy an dont think he duked me just wonderin why so much tan?

I'M KINDA NEW TO THIS BREED

but about every one I raised and got past their puppy stage, even the ones that almost coal black all over when young had their tan come out more on the inside of the ears and most also have more tan on the inside of their hind legs plumb to the crotch and above.

looking at the pic it looks like a B&T should. IMO.. heck I've seen em from all black to high tan with just a saddle back to where they looked more like a redbone way back in the day as the youngsters say nowadays! haha
