Tex Butner - Iowa's #1 Black and Tan man
What ever happened to Tex Butner? In the 70's and 80's he had the hottest Black and Tans to hit the midwest nite hunts.
His main stud dog, "Tom" would of been a fer-shur World Champion but ole' Tex was kind of a poor boy and couldn't make the big hunts.
Since Tex disappeared from the scene the Black and Tan breed has kind of treaded backwards. Where is the Iowa #1 Black and Tan man and would his return to the breed and sport be the Black and Tans Messiah?
ROFLMAO

I ran into Tex a few years back
He said that he had quit coon hunting and was working in the office of a senior care center in Ottumwa.
