Need help! Tender foot dog

I got a dog that is tender footed. Anyone use any of products available? Like Happy Jack or Tuff Foot? Any suggestions from you old houndsmen would help

if you don't see a wound, better have it check for lymes. my bucky dog acted sore on a foot and couldn't see a problem area. ended up we was coming down with lymes.

i had a young female years ago, her pads would be raw after about 30 min. of hunting. a old man at the barber shop told me this: 3 table spoons of alum powders mixed in a quart jar half full of warm water. soak dogs feet 3 times a day for a week, 2 times a day for another week, & 1 time a day for the third week. i did this and she made one of the best coondogs i have seen. nerver any more pad problems. he said they used a rag soaked in the alum when he was a barber in the army for the young men when their face got raw from shaving.it worked for my dog.

question

What kind of terrain or surface was dog runnning on. How much has the dog been out. It may just need to be played up for about a week. After a week slowly condition its feet for tough hunting conditions. Medication is not always the answer. If the feet aren't tough they will be tender again.
