I am waiting until Sat. Night, butI'm sure glad it is finally coming. Kids are in the football playoffs friday night so I'm gonna wait now more day. I love to hunt with the leaves off. It makes training so very much easier.

I'll be out! Anyone in Southern Ohio area want to get together for a hunt sometime? Always looking for other guys to hunt with, Of course guys that aren't out for blood and to run down dogs!

Jermey where are you located? I'm in the Batavia area and don't have anywhere to hunt around my place. I would sure like to tag along if possible. I have a female that will run and tree a coon just needing somewhere to hunt her.

At 12:01 ill be cutting them loose. Ohio is like a dash for the cash. If its a normal winter this year, then you got about three or four weeks of good hunting. December is den. den, den. and maybe a few on the outside. Always fun hunting in January with the rut though, no matter how much snow is on. Good luck to all, and safe hunting.

This season is going to be the first season that im allowed to go on opening night and hunt with my dad, im looking forward to having fun and shooting some coon

Thank goodness for a good light. This is how i would do it for 5-7 bucks a coon.

Had fun nite

Hunted my young Alice II female made 4 trees, a den and 3 coon on the outside. Took her back and hunted her dam one drop and treed a double and called it a nite. What a beautiful, peacefull nite to hunt hounds!!

Sounds like most had a good night! The rain slowed me down last night but still had a real nice night in the woods. Ended up treeing 11 I was hapy with that. Now it's Ikes turn tonight.
