Winners - Fin-Feather-Fur Big Coon Contest Winners
On Sunday November 11th, Fin-Feather-Fur in Ashland, Ohio held a big coon contest which was sponsored by Tri-Tronics.
About 60 people entered the contest and the weather for the 10am to noon check in was beautiful. It was a great day to be outside!
This was the first full night of Ohio’s coon season and most guys reported great hunting conditions.
The first 18 people who registered for the competition received a free, monogrammed Zepp’s Plus Points Coon Squaller.
The winner of the both Tri-Tronics NIGHTRazor lights at the 2012 Fin-Feather-Fur Big Coon contest was Redbone man Steve Keener, far right. Steve checked in the largest boar coon which weighed 24.12 lb. as well as the largest sow coon, which weighed 17.5 lb.
Also pictured are, back row, Scott Oney from Fin-Feather-Fur, and front row, Rowan, Reed, Rhett and Steve Keener.
Everyone who entered the contest was eligible to win a NIGHTRazor Light from Tri-Tronics and this fine young lady, Madison Eaton, pulled the Lucky number out of the bowl for that prize....
… and low and behold another Redbone person, Carol Markley from Rainbow Creek Redbones was the winner of the NIGHTRazor.
Many thanks to all who entered and we hope to see more of you next year!
