Gr Ch Nt Ch Brewsters A.J.

2012 performance sire. I would like to get some pups on the ground from A.J. His Sire is Gr Nt Ch Double Springs Bodacious his Dam is Gr. Ch. Nt. Ch. Brewsters Sally Sue. A. J. is a nice hound with good looks to go with it. He made Nt. Ch. with 3 firsts this year and 1 win to Gr. Nt. Ch. also put him in a htx 2 or 3 weeks ago and got a pass with no faults. He has won 5 of his last seven casts. Has been in 9 hunts this year. Would breed for a pup deal to a Nt. Ch. or Gr. Nt. Ch. female. Call me at 4056432049 or4056680519. Thanks, Gary Brewster

Pepper was out of Gr ch Gr Nt Ch Sextons Blue Jimmy II and Nt Ch Morses Blue Pebbles. I will try to figure out how to post a picture. There is a picture of him on a tree and his full pedigree in BBCHA bluebook page 219 2011 edition.

travelman, I sure did like that blood as well. I did know that Jim still had some of it and may look to mix some back in the future.

Posted by Gary Brewster on 11-09-2012 04:30 AM:

Scott, there may be some of Daves blood if you go back far enough but none in the first 4 or 5 generations unless it would be behind Bodaciuos.

Dennis, good to hear from you I spoke with Jim on the phone a little earlier tonite and we are looking at crossing Bell and A. J.

night out

Dewy Coats and I took our young dogs out tonite with A. J. started atrack on the snow and they worked it about 950 yards. A. J. got treed and both pups treed with him. We shot out a big boar coon to the dogs. Both of these 14 month old littermates looked really good tonite sure makes it exciting to go hunting even if its really cold and nasty.

I agree, a good young dog motivates me.

Blueticker, had another good nite with the pups last nite two hot tracks. 1 short race about 350 yards and treed. the second must have been a boar, he ran 3/4 of a mile quick with dogs on his but and ended up in a beaver hole under creek bank. Dogs couldnt get to him, really liking these pups they are really doing it for 10 trips out . Nothing like seeing them progress each time you hunt them.

Wife wouldn't let me go last night. I'll help her in the house today and posibly I can hunt. My young dogs are not super but making progress. You hear how some of Bodacious pups start slow but if you look around he produced some top winners. I evaluate the end product not the puppy that doesn't finish on top.

Dennis, I got to go again tonite took my little female again with A. J. he put one in a beaver hole and she was out of pocket but made it there before he pulled it out of hole it got away from him in deep water and climbed a den tree and went in a hole. Then we made another den tree little female ran track and treed good. moved to a new spot and struck good track ran it only about 200 yards and got it treed little female was screaming on track and then got treed rite. I am really having fun with her. She is out of Duvalls Big Money Jake dog that I finished to Dual Grand for Dewey Coats in 2011. and Nt. Ch. female I told Jim about that Mike Bennett had that went back to some of Jims dogs. These pups are really doing good right now, hope they dont go through a teenage backset like some do, but continue to improve and make the right kind.

Monday nite Dewey Coats and I took our 14 month old littermates with A. J. first track was a working feeder track about 550 yards and treed with a double. Young dogs looked good track and tree. 2nd track hot fast track about 350 yards treed with another double, againa the young dogs looked good. 3rd track A. J. got to himself and went about 3/4 mile to the west and caught coon on ground while young dogs went southabout 600 yards and then split with Deweys going on south and my female going west. She booger barked 3 or 4 times and shut up. Deweys dog located on a tree but didnt get treed. We called in all dogs and when they came in we figured out real quick what the booger bark was about as she smelled a little. Tuesday nite 1st turnout no strike. 2nd turnout 520 yards treed single. 3rd turnout good race to a den tree. Young dogs looked good Tuesday nite with no mishaps. Tonite I am setting in raining and wind blowing.
