Help needed

I am getting started with my 6 year old. Really wanting to find a treeing walker or blue tick by dec. 1 that is the ms state youth hunt. I have been pleasure hunting for years but want to step it up to comp hunt. Clueless on age of dog or bloodline to look for. Any advice or someone wanting to help me get started would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Daniel 601 455 8228
