I occasionally help shelters i.d. dogs they think are coonhounds. They are listing this one as a bloodhound X redbone (majestic), which seems plausible to me given her size. She's not a typical redbone color. There used to be a fair number of these lighter color redbones, but I don't ever recall seeing one with light fur and a dark mask. I haven't seen many buckskin Plotts. Might be a buckskin Plott X bloodhound? What do you guys think?

I'd say that the bloodhound part is definitally right not sure about the rest

The dark face could be from bloodhounds. Bloodhounds can have the same coloring of black & tans. The red color could also be from bloodhounds.

My guess is she definitely has bloodhound traits. So bloodhound/redbone mix probably isn't too far off.

Ask Steve one here who crossbreeds bloodhounds with hounds. I think he goes by Majestic.
