cap lights

How well do the cap lights work as far as shooting coons out and holding the light or can see through the scope go od with it on your head. Thanx for responces

No different than any other light. I would get a scope mounted light. They work great. No more having to cock you light to the side, just turn the light on and put it on the coon. Look in the scope and there it is. You dont even have to have you hunting light on.

My hands shake so I'm not super steady with a rifle. So, I put the cap light in my left hand, set the rifle barrel on it and am able to shoot 2 handed with the cap light acting as my rest for my left arm. Works good for me.

Cap lights

Just curious about the longevity of the new cap lights?
I know several people still using 20+ year old box lights and 15 year old belt lights. The few people I know using cap lights are already on their 2nd & 3rd ones, any thoughts?

I have a cap light if u have the up and down swivel raise the head up u can see what your shooting at easier than holding it.
