Anyone like Gator Tail?

These two will make some good eating!! My friend RT too me and my Grandson out last not for a short gator hunt. Only thing moving was the small ones but they sure are tasty and its late in the season with some tags to fill.
Did see a couple nice ones but couldn't get a shot at them.

I'd sure like to try it. Always looked good when they fried it up on Swamp People

Ok this is what I had one time and one of the Best Fixens .. Cube your gator into bite size piece .. Fix up some Flower with 1/8 corn meal and season it well .. Now this is a Trick that really makes it work .. In a sauce pan Boil 1/2 Water and 1/2 Cheep Dry White Wine, Drop in 10 pieces at a Time and Boil for 3 min, Strain the Boiled pieces and Drop in the Flower Mixture coat well then Fry to a Golden Brown !!! There is Something that the White Wine does to the Meat !! This also works well with Channel Cats, Shark ect and it makes the Meat tightin up like Lobster !!

One thing it does is desolves the Fat off and usualy its the Natural Fat Taste that Turns Fokes Off ..

I'd sure like to try it. Had bout every thing else. The way I see it, if you can eat possum and chiterlings you can eat anything.

Congrats Bruce. I must admit, the crew you hang around with after dark, just don't compare to the daylight crew.

It's good. Alot of work skinning. I'm about tired of it. I like turtle better.

I love it but kinda hard to find in Indiana. Zoo's don't like us shooting them in their facility.
Is there any one out there that raise gators and sells the processed meat at a decent price. I would buy batch and have it shipped.

I'll trade pound for pound for snapper turtle. We have a lot of sliders but very few snappers.
