More October News 2012: Update

Stanly County is considering a new animal control ordinance. There is another REVISED DRAFT dated 10/04/2012 available at the following link:

Articles I through V of the draft ordinance are important! If you are a Stanly County hunter, review the latest revision of the proposed Ordinance and attend the Monday, October 22, 2012 County Commissioners Public Meeting at 7:00 pm in Stanly County.

California has banned bear hunting with dogs. HSUS supported this ban. We must stand together to fight the animal rights activists in North Carolina.

Animal rights activists are pushing for a breeder bill for January 2013 at the NC legislature. HSUS and PETA want to require breeders to have hot and cold running, potable water at the kennel, temperature regulated kennels (not below 50 or above 85 degrees), regulating the size of kennels, and much more. It is oppressive and unreasonable legislation, but it is coming. What can you do? VOTE! Send pro-gun and pro-dog legislators to Raleigh, please!

NRA legislative endorsements for North Carolina General Assembly: Some of you asked how you should vote in your state Senate and House of Representative races. Fill in your address and see the candidates for your districts. You can print a sample ballot to take with you.

Elections 2012 give us the right to vote for pro-hunting and pro-gun candidates. Hunters need to vote in the local, state, and federal elections. Our rights are under assault. Join the Fight! If you have not renewed your membership in the NC Sporting Dog Association, please do so. Support the fight for your right to hunt with dogs. Cynthia, I know it is dis heart n ing for you to post relevent information and get no coonhunters to care. This is like a political thread whereby most dummys think the Government has a bunch of scence. Or are just plain scared to speack up. My guess is these animal rights threads will soon start dis appearing same as political threds . Then the 22 riffle threads because some self righteous doo gooder holds the key to the delete button. Its not your post causes the hush up , believe me, it is the nutless wonders that call themselves COON HUNTERS.

there are coon hunters and dog owners in Stanly County NC. if you are not interested in what I post, please do not read or comment. I put this info out there to reach the masses for the ppl that care and want to help fight this. just as other put out pups for sale or what my dog did last night. if no one cares and they loose their rights to hunt or keep dogs as they can afford them, then that's there problem...until it becomes everyone's problem

It sounds like ya'll might have had success! If so what was it and what shifted the tide? Also, are there any County Commissioners on the ballot in just two weeks that you could either help or hurt?. And some so called coonhunters want to do away with politcal threads!!!! LOL . I can tell what ever happened , happened because of your efforts ; not us coonhunters as a 'hole.
