at least
have it in areas with COON !! make sure the guides are legit, and have MORE than 1 or 2 spots to put a cast in!!
Central/northern usa only make more sense.fair travel, easier terrian, more coon to score on.
what happens very thin coon areas;4 independent dogs are cut and go in 4 different directions.......the luckiest hound finds the track, not the best.

Most folks will go to this hunt regardless of the location if they ...HAVE THE DOG POWER WORTH HAULING........,I personally think all the ...BIG HUNTS...should be moved around to different locations, but that is easier said than done because of the tremendous amount of time and unseen work that it takes to prepare for a ...BIG HUNT.As for as helping the local economy,The S.C.STATE HUNT was a bigger draw than the hunt I attended in Shreveport,I thought the same until I went to my first UKC WORLD HUNT,may be due to the format at the regions, zones but from my wifes opinion it was not a big deal..........SEEMS TO ME THAT THE GRAND AMERICAN OR AUTUMN OAKS WOULD BE THE PLACE TO CHOOSE A ...WORLD HUNT WINNER.Let any one enter that can qualify, and some folks may not be able to qualify due to reasons beyond there control, and for these I would say let them show up and pay a set entry fee for the ones that could not attend a rqe for reasons they cant control, work,$$$ personal reasons.........jmo

The world is a big event and I say takes all year to plan moving it each year would be a mess
I have no problem moving hunts around, that gives everyone a chance to participate, but I do think that if they are planning on a new location that a Zone hunt should be tried first...
