I love mine.. It links up faster and doesn't seem to drop signal near as fast. AND you have the bonus of just using one collar instead of two if you run a shock collar on your dog.

They sound great. I'm quite interested in them since they are a two in one.
Does it take the micro sd map card that you astro will take?

My Alpha came pre-loaded with a topo map.

I like mine a lot. Better than the Astro in every way IMO. Really nice having both collars built into one and being able to watch the dog on the screen when you need to use the ecollar function.

but can you still put the mircro sd cards in them? I'm from Canada so I doubt they'd come with a canadian map is why i'm asking.

yes it uses the same chip. you are correct it doesn't have topo in it for Canada.
