OT...03 Chevy Silverado Help

Truck went dead...completely dead. Threw jumpers on, got it running. ABS light is on on dash, and the ABS pump runs continuously. While trucks turned off. Any diagnostics help is appreciated thanks guys!!!

Had the same thing happen years ago to mine but cant hardly remember.Pretty for sure your ABS is out.I was working away when they fixed it but I think there is a fuse under the hood you can pull to keep it from running. It was under warranty then and the cost was around $300-400 fix it at the chevy dealer,or keep the fuse pulled and put tape over the abs light.

My 97 with 465K miles has had the abs light on for three yeas . Is that supposed to mean something? It does not get real good milage. Mine I thought , died in the yard the other morning there was abuzzard perched on top. I said to myself that was a good place to die and not leave me stranded somewhere out in the middle of nowhere. Come to find out it was not dead , just a buzzard perched on top cause it smelled that way. I got a picture I'll post when I get to where i can get to photobucket.

Abs motor running all the time will run the battery dead , should be a fuse box on driver side under hood , pull fuse or relay while not driving , just remember to put it back in , I'd try replacing relay first cause more than likely that's the problem the relay is sending power to the motor all the time . A abs light staying on all the time is probably just a sensor problem .

I know it will drain the battery dead if its continuously running, my wife had my truck and I had to leave work last night to rescue her. She said when she left to get dinner on her break and said the abs light come on. Then when she went to leave work truck was dead. She claims she never heard abs pump running when she parked it. Then from here re read my first post lol.
