Cap light vs belt light

Really whats the difference !! its very confusing i mean one's 28 volts and ones like 3.5 volts but they are really close in brightness i'm confused lol.....someone please walk me thru this

You need so many volts per LED. The reflector being used make the spot what it is and will make your LUX what they are. Lumen is your over all light output and Lumen are given by the maker of the LED more lumens more then likely the more walking light. LEDs don't need many volts to be bright. The more LEDs in a head the more volts you need. A single LED head does not need many volts a 5 or 6 LED needs more volts. Once you get more volts then you need you just start to add to your burn time. When it comes to brightness seems like you think like me the father the spot goes the brighter the light is. When you make a real tight spot like the single LED lights you get a spot that will go a long ways. The tighter the spot more then likely the higher the LUX reading and the farther there spot will go. Right now there are a few single LED heads that the LUX is higher then the 5 and 6 LED heads there for there spot throws farther. Not every one likes the same spot on there light. Most single LEDs out right now have the tightest spots. Most of the 5 and 6 LEDs out have a med spot. The sunspot light has the biggest spot. Most dealer's have some single LED lights and some 5 or 6 LED heads. The prople that don't like the tighter spots say they need more light to walk with.

Just find out what size spot you want then go from there.

Spotlight jack or walking light
Then maker and who stands behind them.
