does conkeys hound supply change out the battery on the dc 30 collars

Bruce can do it but he will likely ask you to ship it to Kevin Rainwater in Kentucky. He does good work and just fixed an LED head for me.

PM or call Bruce and he can give you Kevin's info.

I had one get weak after about two years that I had to replace. I had two more DC-30's that were approaching four years old when I sold them last month that were still going strong on the original battery.

My understanding was that you couldn't get the batteries for the Dc-30 anymore. Was I misinformed?

The batteries for the 30 and 40 are the same battery, i believe it's even the same for the 20

They are the same you just get different hardware depending on which you get.. I just get all 30 battery's and have changed out many, its very simple just be careful with the gps antenna connection.
