Dog in a Well

Tonight was a first for me. Had a dog get down in an old well. Luckily I got him out pretty easy with nothing more than a small cut over his eye.

Garmin kept cutting in and out losing signal and then momentarily picking it back up. Using the map I was able to get to him and get him out.

Good for you. Those old wells can be bad. Lucky you were able to get him out and he wasn't hurt.

Glad you got him out! Had a buddy lose one to a well a few years back.

Wasn't that deep nor that big. I had to climb down in it using the rocks on the side to hold onto and snap the leash on him then climb back up and pull him out. Probably 10ft to the bottom. At first I thought he had broke his leg but it was just caught in some brush that had fell in the well.
