Congratulations. You have a right to be very PROUD!!
He is in the nuclear power program so he will be in school for a while.
Good for him. I also graduated from Great Lakes. Then went to Electricial school there too. It was a long time ago though. I've been ask if they really had electricity when I was in the Navy. LOL!

Well this country boy knew he had done come to town when we hit Chicago....lol I guess South Carolina will be our next new place to see.
Congrats to your son. I served in the US Navy from 1991-1996 before switching over to the US Army in 1997. He will enjoy the Navy and being able to see the world. I am now retired but I can proudly say that during my military career I have been all the way around the world. I hope your son enjoys his time in the Navy and is always safe.

Congratulations! Nuc school is a long one but well worth it.

thank your son from a old air force vet, is the pig boat duty what he wanted, takes a special man for that duty you should be real proud of him.
Congratulations to you and him both! I have a son in the Air Force and that is a proud day when you see them graduate boot camp. Glad you could make the trip to see it.

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers for my son. I talked to him today and he is now talking about going to the academy. The best advice i could give was for him to take it day by day and to start that day with a smile and end it with a prayer.
