Sportdog Tek GPS

How dependndable are these units. I really like the concept but have heard a few bad things and wonder what others experiences are. Any Feedback would be great! Thanks.
Have a chance to buy a nice one reasonable used slightly
but am a bit nervous due to warranty being non-transferrable.

I have read that they have no map. Pretty much useless to have a GPS with no map to me.

They do not have a map card, but they are good units that are dependable and range is super. If they ever come up or out with a map card i promise this will be the unit to have.
