MI man almost drowns-
NEAR CENTREVILLE, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – There was a near drowning overnight near Centreville.
Deputies say 18-year-old Joshua Johnloz from Three Rivers was out practicing for a raccoon hunting competition when he cut across a pond in the 23000 block of Banker Street Road and got stuck in the muck below the water.
Friends with him say he got fatigued and couldn't make it to the shoreline.
A few friends ran for help. Authorities aided with a rescue. They got a rope out to Joshua and were able to pull him to shore.
He suffered only minor injuries.
