Youth Nationals

We have been getting alot of calls about hotels and camp grounds for Nationals. A lot of them locally are booked. I have done some calling and here is some that are still avaliable:

Hotels:
Knights Inn 1-765-472-3971 about 30 minutes S
Rochester Hotel 1-574-223-3185 about 8 minutes

Camp Grounds:
Fish & Fun 1-574-835-2099 about 2 minutes
Lakeview Campground 1-574-353-8114 about 15 minutes.

Camping is also avaliable on site at the Nationals location!!

Also if anyone knows the rules very well and you would like to be a part of this event, we would love to have you help by judging a cast. Just let me know and we will pair you up with a local guide.
(But remember you cannot judge your own kid or dog.)

The weather forecast is looking so promising for mild temperatures, so we should have a wonderful weekend for everyone!! This is such a great event for the kids, come on out and enjoy this time with them!!

Camping is free onsite, but there is limited space with electric. Unlimited space for primitive camping or camping with generators.

Got a few more items to put together here then packing up today and ready to roll first thing Friday morning! It's been so dry in this part of the country but.... Fulton County got hit with some pretty good showers last weekend so should help a whole lot in that regard. Looking forward to a great weekend in Rochester at the Youth Nationals!

And like it was planned especially for the kids...... The area gets a much needed 2" of rain! Probably screwed up Allen's golf outing....but it will make the hunting much better.

It was my pleasure to judge Saturday! The youth events are my favorite and I sure had a good time. The entire cast were good kids with good dogs.

Congratulations Sutton on placing 8th and earning High Point Black and Tan male with your dog Casey! You did an excellent job calling him and he did his job for you.
