This Weekend: Those hot and dry conditions will continue this weekend as temperatures stay in the low 100s with mostly sunny conditions and light winds. Heat Index values between 103-108 degrees.

The Heat Wave Starts Today

Get ready for the heat! It begins today. Highs climb into the mid 90s this afternoon with sunshine. On Friday, temperatures climb into the low 100s! The triple digits stay in the forecast all the way through Monday. Make sure to drink plenty of water (soda and alcohol will dehydrate you), seek shade during the afternoon, and check on the elderly to make sure they have a cool place to go. seen a man gave 1500 for a dog we hunted him it was 75 degrees by the end of the night he had made three trees and stoped found m n in creek dead as a wedge not a pretty site ,,i came away with something from that hunt and the heat good luck and b safe

I had one overheat once. Son of a gun was crazy as a loon afterwards. Was not pretty. I gave him away.

I wont hunt if it is past 85. I don't care if it takes the dog all season to come out of a long lay up lol!! All I can think about today is ice cold tea and watching hunting videos LOL!!

I live in Virginia Beach now and it felt that hot a few weeks ago but I'm home on leave in Sevierville and it's killing me with no ocean to jump in and hide from the heat

here in wv broke records its 8 pm here still 93 hoe my beagles down they dont like it but better than dyig from the heat hosed the horses and ponies down wife stayed in the pool about all day yhe pool aint my thinng if i want to swim i go to the river gettin to old for that so i stay in the house where its cool slight chance of rain for a few days but probly wont happen aint cut grass in 2 wks eveybody stay safe in all this heat
