scoring ?

3 dog cast, all dogs are trailing close. boo hooing all around. Dog comes close to gallery, when she see's us she spins around and takes off down lane. Someone says something and judge flips light on her. She is relieving herself 40-50yds away and as soon as done she takes off. Judge says minus her strike, said dog cant pee once struck or she has quit track. Dog was back to opening 30 seconds later and all continued to do so for the whole hr. I was just a spectator but thought it was a bad call.
Maybe im just to easy on a dog, Dont really know what to think.

can a dog stop to pee? I guess you would have to be there, so i will try to give a little more detail....
It was a bad track, flooded timber along a mucky creek. All 3 dogs having trouble with track, all 3 look up several times. dogs go back and forth and all around, cant find where the track lines out, well until the time is up. In my mind the dog has not quit her track. If she wasnt seen, she wouldnt have been minused..

Read rule 4e. Not only can they pee, but they can quit their track and still cannot be minused unless they come in to the cast.

Let's us all know who to look out for.

Thats what Im saying. Plus when you post a cheating thread. You should have to leave the cheateees REAL NAME and phone number and the CHEATERS real name lol.. I bet that would cut down on em quite a bit.

"Crooked" or "shouldn;t be judging just yet"? Big difference I think.

Neither of which makes it ok BTW. Regardless, both should be fixable right then and there. ??

I was only a spectator on the cast, I did question the call. His responce, "In human terms, if 4 guys line up on a track in a race and one stops to pee he has quit"
My responce, If he zips it up and passes everyone he didnt quit he just gave them a head start, he still wins..
Another, if im working all day pouring concrete (his profession) and stop to pee are you going to dock my pay?
His responce, Put this on the computer see what kind of answer you get, id bet I am right...

None of that means squat. It is a very simple rule question that is settled by the fact that the dog never came in o the cast.

In PKC, your analogies don't really carry an ounce of weight either. If I believe the dog quit the track, (and it sounds like it did) I minus the dog.

Minused for taking a leak, what is next?!?!?! I can't wait til a handler waters a tree down in a cast, and is scratched, or told they just withdrew for quitting the hunt LOL

Minus

Most clubs always try to put the best judges on each cast so I say good call by the judge. We are only getting 1 side of the story but from what you are telling us the dog should be minused and NOT for taking a pee but for leaving the track. I would bet the minused dog was your buddies dog and it was not the first track you have seen her leave...

Not at all, it was the first time ever seeing the dog and I am very good friends with all involved.
Im 100% sure the judge is the best judge at our club!!
From what I seen he made a bad call, it happens. We talked about it after the hunt and decided to ask you guys. Im not out to linch anyone. I dont think for one second that he cheated. I do however think he made a bad call.
