Nationals excuse`s

I want to hear all the reasons on here why you should have won and didn,t . So I do not have to liston to it at the next hunt I see you at. [LOL] Roy

Actually...

I have no excuses.... I only brought 2 dogs (1 reg and 1 champ). I won both cast i ran in. Both cast were great groups of people and everything went real smooth. You can say i just lucked out.

Anyways, i would like to know if UKC would ever consider making it a elimination style hunt?

Personally, i paid just as much money, traveled just as far, and won just as much (plus points) as the other men who went on yet my dogs are treated as if they lost.

Not harking UKC, UKC is a fine registestry, but i'm just wondering if they have ever thought about it.

Take Care,

Thanks To All Who Helped Put It On....

See ya next year....
-Jack

I LOVE THE NATIONALS!!! HAD A BLAST ALL WEEKEND... I WILL BE AT THE NATIONALS NO MATTER WHAT THEY DO , BUT I KNOW IT WOULD MAKE FOR AN AWESOME HUNT IF IT WAS ALL ELIMINATION , ALL PLUS POINT WINNERS KEEP GOING TILL THEY ARE BEAT , PUT IT IN THE DOGS HANDS NOT THE HANDLERS THAT SCORE THE MOST POINTS , DON'T TAKE THAT WRONG , BUT THE SPOT I RAN IN THE GRANDS WAS AWESOME , I SCORED 1185 PLUS POINTS AND WAS THE SECOND PLACE DOG , THERE ARE SPOTS THAT ARE NOT GOING TO SCORE LIKE THAT AT THE NATIONALS , BUT STILL HAVE PLUS POINT WINNERS...
THIS HUNT WAS AWESOME , I DIDN'T WIN A THING BUT HAD A GOOD TIME , AND CAUGHT UP WITH SOME OLD FRIEND AND MEET SOME NEW ONES... SEE YA ALL ON DOWN THE ROAD...

Elimination hunt

I also would like to see Nats go Elimination Style Hunt.
Make it a three day hunt, and make a great thing even better!
However ,we still have the Ind. Eliminator and the World Hunt that is right on track. Thanks to everyone at the Nats for a great weekend. Congrats to the winners.

Joe Brown did a great job of judgein the cast. My Abbey came in second in the cast but the terain was a nitemare. Congrads to Joe and his Molly she did a great job and we are lookin forward to that rematch later with ya Joe after she has her pups.I swear that I have NEVER seen or been in so steep of a mountain as we were in my entire life! Abbey couldnt keep up the runnin means that she is due with her litter in under 30 days. I about had mine on that mountain side.LOL We had a great hunt and made two new friend that I will never forget this hunt..

Heres my excuses... Gotta Go Ricochet came in heat (thats my MAIN excuse), Then my handler got ahold of some "White Lightin" and didn't show, So I had a back up handler handling a back up dog which he never hunted with before, then the reg dog I hunted and the Ch dog my daughter hunted just plain got beat by better dogs, I hunted a Grand dog I used to own and got her in the finals with 1285+, then the owner took over and got beat while I judged the winners pack and allmost LOST MY MIND on that one LOL!!!!! Had a split track, dogs pulling track, dogs striking back in, a dog score by himself, a dog get warned for back tracking, a handler questioning the warning, a line called, another dog pulling, and another line called..........ALL this in aprox 1-2 minutes, wheooo what a mess but I think we got it ALL handled, And I thank every one of those handlers for being sportsmen and gentlemen through the whole mess. Other than that and freakin out both mornings till all the casts left.....I had a GREAT TIME and can't wait till next year..... Hit us with 500 dogs....I dare Ya

My excuse was we also had a hunt. I guess I'm just getting to old to compete anymore, or maybe I'm worried about all the heat that coming in June. Mississippi heat, Indiana heat and whatever heat that comes with the rest. I must be dreaming, Roy has some new heat by the name of RUPE and what a mouth. You mighty righty that the lawn chairs are ready and the rabbits are runnin steady. We have a new girl that will be joining us, if you want to take a shot at her, name is Multiflora Rose, but you have to watch her she likes to bite and scratch. LMAO

Thornie, another new girl will be tuneing up for june in the rose pathes. Sundown I Emma Girl is back from haveing pups and will be getting ready for her chance to show her stuff for the first time. Do not know how much heat she will bring yet ,but she will definitely not hold any back.
