I have 2 for my bird dogs and use them when training and also while hunting. For my coon dogs I use dogtra for the distance but the Sportdog the 3/4 mile range is more than enough for my bird dogs......and they do just fine, good made collars and nice transmitter. They do the job so I'd have to say B+ for their design.
