I love that picture with the 3 people standing around the coon and dog. I don't know where your love for coondogs will take you twenty years from now but enjoy the journey.
All coonhunters can look into that picture and have it bring back memories. Three people standing around a caged coon. One with a big smile on her face, one apparently cold in his tee shirt and one petting the dog. Yes the road to fame and glory in the coondog world usually starts with a pup and caged coon in a field somewhere. Some wiil take the path to success, others will take the path and get lost.
Enjoy every moment, remember every friend and family memeber that smiled with you along the way.

Thanks for posting that picture. Was nice to sit here on the back porch with a warm cup of coffee on a beautiful Saturday moring and look into that picture and remember some of the fields I have been standing in the past 35 years.

(sniff)(sniff) that was the best poast yet out of them all its nice to bring back the memorys. and all the people standing around is my family and my cousion is the one with his hands in his pockets and there were like 10 other people that were there at my parents house for a bbq and i went and checked my trap and i had me my first coon and thats how i started to get in this coon hunting bissnuss and i love to go coon hunting even if you are hunting or if your not its all fun.
