OK, I will be here till 5 PM. I am at work now.
Just curious if this is the same Art who grew up in Western PA and moved to MO?? You posted on here for quite a while then disappeared.
I know you used to hunt those lone pine dogs and I am just real curious as to what you are hunting now. I will get hold of you. Thanks again, Ron

Yep, That is me. Changed Jobs for a while so I was not able to post on here for a while.
Still have my Lone Pine dogs, One Grand, Two Nite Champions and couple young dogs. One goes in her fist hunt tonight.
Two of my old dogs are Casey bred and one is Clyde bred.
I will send you an email from my house when I get out of here. I would really like to see some of those pedigrees. Did you happen to know Dave or Dennis Kennedy or their female Slippery Rock Penny??
My friend was hunting a dog out of her that passed away just recently, and I would like to know if you have anything similar to that blood. I will post his old dogs pedigree if you don't mind taking a look at it.

I know Tony Davaduk (SP) is back into hunting now. I think Lee said he had an old dog he got out of Canada that is lone pine bred and suppose to be a good hound. That might be a good place to check or call Lee Logan

it's tough to beat the old lone pine stuff.
I am hunting one out of the Screaming Pete dog now. She is tough.
I know where there are two littermates to my old Rock dog that had the above pedigree. But they'll be 10 in May.

I lived in Beaver County pretty much right behind Cranberry Township from 1999 on. My parents still live there and will probably never leave. Before that we lived in Bradford Woods in Wexford PA. My grandparents are living there now............small world huh?

It is not the best place in the US for hounds, I can guarentee that.

No that is for sure. I would be scared to death to turn a dog loose there and if you did all the yard yappers and traffic would have them drowned out! LOL

I have hunted in several different states, I think the best state for ALL around hunting is MO. Not the largest population, but lots of land to hunt, good weather most of the year and no real worry about cars or tresspassing like you have back East. I grew up in Western PA just north of Pittsburgh and would not even consider turning a dog loose there for the no tresspassing, cars and over all idiots.
I had some friends from WV come out and go hunting here a month or so ago and they was amazed that you could hunt, never see a house light or hear a yard yapper.
So for over all, hunting, dog safety, and availability to hunt. I love the SHOW ME STATE. We also have a wide range of hunting from corn fields to big timber.
