Redtick, I've got you figured out.

Have wondered why some posters have constantly ridiculed REDTICK. My opinion is becuse REDTICK actually has opinions that (in my view) are from years of experience and do not change daily when he logs on. I've noticed that some posters opinions on an issue will change in the middle of a thread. I don't know REDTICK, don't hunt english dogs,but having read his posts, if I had a problem He'd probably be one of the first ones on here that I'd contact. He seems to love his dogs. This is a good thing.

I have to agree Grubbs,,I've gotten alot of info about these redtick hounds from Dave,,he's got his opinion and that's the way it is,no matter if anyone likes it or not,,but I've noticed that he has info or resources to back up his opinions most of the times,,,Heck Dave is an alright guy once ya figure him out.....

I have to agree Redtick does post his name on everyone. I put my name on everything for the same reasons he does. It is great that you can express your views without hiding your name. You will stand behind your comments that way.

It would be easy to stereotype Redtick as "another old guy hung up on himself". The problem with stereotypes are that they are usually inaccurate, regardless of the person's age, or involvement with coonhounds.

Redtick seems to have been around a while but most importantly to have LEARNED something while he was hanging around. I've learned a few things from reading his posts and have read a few others I dismissed as self promotional or pure propaganda. He's got something worthwhile to contribute, just plan on doing some "filtering".

No offense meant, Redtick.

I find my self agreeing with Redtick more times than not. And before you gauge him by just his written persona, you ought to talk ti him on the phone or in person. He's a nice guy.

i think that self promotion thing aggrivates some people to the pont they are very hard on him. but he knows about dogs and has written some great stuff.its ovbvious reading his posts that he has a lot of experience with hounds. pete
