Quick Track and L&L collars

Are quick-track collars and L&L collars the same? I have heard before that L&L makes quick-track but don't know for sure. The collars look the same, but there is a price difference. Anyone use the L&L collars? How do they work for you. Thanks.

Two different companys. L&L's product is enough like QuickTracks to make me think that maybe L&L worked at QuickTrack at one time...or maybe the other way around. From my experience, L&L's trackers are just as good as QuickTrack, their collars aren't.

from what i got out of it. l&l makes the system for Quick Track. i snt mine off for repair this summer and there was some delay. Quick Track had to send it some where, i asked the rep if their system was made by l&l. he wouldn't comment.

L&L and Quicktrack

L&L used to be built and serviced by quicktrack. I had a L&L that needed some work. The name plate stated that it was built by quicktrack and to send it to them for service. So I call quicktrack, I tell them what I have got, they get ill quick and tell me that L&L are no longer associated with them. Ask them for contact info., they told me to get it my self.

Well that sounds downright rude!. I have delt with L&L on service several times and had first rate treatment. My only dealing with QuickTrack has been with their collars and got good service there too.

Anybody else got info on whether the L&L collars are the same as quick-track? Much appreciated.

no , the collars are not the same. Quick track will put out a better signal. out of the three i have quick track is best followed by Johnson and than L&l in that order. the Johnson is almost as strong on the signal. all of them perform to my satisfaction.

I can't comment on the difference

I had an L & L collar and it was temperature sensitive. It was suppose to be on .055. When it was hot, it was on .054 and when it got cold, it changed to .056. The one collar took up 3 positions on my receiver's memory. When I upgraded to a new reciever and sold my old one, I let the collar go with it.

They build the Quick Trac collars right there in the store, you can watch them. They dont work on the receivers there, who ever builds Quick Tracs receivers may also build L&L, I dont know.

Are Quick Trak and L&L about the same price on thier receivers?
