Bill Brotherton bred Blue dogs who has some.

He lives here in Carrolton Mo now but I know he was from down south in La I believe. The old guys has plenty of Bluetick knowledge and seem to know what he has bred and what they can do what have you guys hunted with out of his stock of dogs.
He says they are basically trash free, easy to train,

Hey Elmo, I have some Brotherton bred blue dogs. I know you allready knew that but thought I would answer your post anyway.
My Stone Cold dog was out of Brothertons blue Sally which was a grand daughter to Uchtmans Hawk and the rest were all Brotherton bred. Stone Cold is dead now but I still have a few young dogs out of him to carry on the Brotherton Blood. I might even see about getting a female from Bill to cross on SHOCKER or STONE COLD II.

As for trash free, well its hard to tell. I havent had any trouble with fast game, but have treed a few opossums. But a tree dog will make that mistake now and again. Bill Brotherton will tell you that his dogs will run no trash as far as he knows. Bill has been around along time and I would say that he knows alot!!!
