My PERFECT Hound!!

If I could have any dog, I would take a dog that I could hunt for about 30-40 minutes and if nothing is happening they come back to the truck so we coul make another dump. One i didn't have to have a leash for, that handled like a dream. one with a good mouth and could run a track fairly well and be fairly accurate, and treed anywhere from 60-100 barks a minute. Then I would be doing good, the breeed wouldn't matter at all, and that is my dream dog. How about you all.

i think you just about hammered my "Perfect Hound" thats what all dogs should be, oh yeah i want mine to know how to look for cars also, it would be nice.

Our Hank dog.

He's one of the most well mannered dogs. He's gentle around kids.

Out of the last 25 trees we have saw with him, there has been 22 coon, 1 possum, 1 legitamate den tree, and one that I think was just plain slick.

On October 25, we entered him in a Nite Hunt. 4 dog cast. Hank was the only male. The dogs struck, Hank got 2nd, it was a cold track, and 90 minutes later he finally treed. He was the only dog that did not come off that track or off that tree and get minused. He finished 2nd Registered. Now all he needs is 4th and he'll be NTCH.
