GOOD home needed for 2 coondogs.

My dad has an old female and her daughter that he will sell for a reasonable price. The only catch is that he wants to make sure they get a very, very good home. He's very particular about his hounds and both of these dogs have lived their entire lives at his place. The older female (11 years old) is a nice dog and still hunts fine. She has no problem treeing her own coon, is chop all the way and will hold pressure. She's old, but in good health. Her daughter is also chop all the way, but probably isn't as nice of a coondog. She does fine in the woods, though. They must go as a pair and he'll want to know about the new home and owners.

If you're just starting out or live in the country and want a couple of coondogs, these may be ideal for you. You can hunt with both all you want here. The old dog is great for starting pups. They aren't bred up fancy and they aren't for competition hunting. They will tree you some coon and the price will be fair ($500 for the pair is what he's thinking.)
