My guess would be yes.

It's not to often you see a line of dogs carrying the original name
through 3 generations, and when 13 of 14 have it I would think it
is unusual.

That is a nice pedigree and it looks to be alll were bred from Cheif .Seems as if that breeding program at the time worked well but there also seems to be a lot of different type dogs come from that line....What do you think is up with that ??????????????????????????

****pay no attention to this man as he gives credit to one man and one line only, yet his next post will be that bluetickers inbreed and linebreed to much. MOH, I like the way he's bred, I'd bet he's a very balanced hound that gets his share no matter what you cut him with, good luck to you.

Thanks, and he is a balanced hound with a good mouth. He is more of what I call a pleasure dog , but also a dog you can win a competetion hunt with by doing what a coondog is suppose to do
TREE COONS.

congrats to moh and to slick willy on their 2nd 1st place win.Boys and girls, this is a good hound, I know because I was the previous owner. If I needed a shot of smokey river blood in my stock of blues, this is the dog I would breed to. Willy will be a night champion very soon.

Rance , not to my knowledge. Papers are sent in and should be back soon. If you know of someone with a heavy Smokey River
bred female tell them to get in touch with me as I would like to breed him to get some pups on the ground.

I am going to talk to UKC about putting Willy in the performance
program for the upcoming year and hopefully have him finished by
the end of this year.
