but the best COONDAWG ive ever been in the woods with wasnt even a pure bred hound but he was 100 percent COONDAWG.....titles dont make em coondogs just looks good on paper...some of the sorriest dogs ive ever seen go where grand nite ch's or thats what the papers said lol..................

Posted by Dealer on 10-03-2005 10:32 PM:

I'm not saying JV doesn't know what a coondog is, I just would find it very interesting to hunt with his dogs, knowing what he say's about others. He may have the best I've ever seen? You just never know!!

Don't come here expecting to turn your dog out on any pet coon around feeder buckets.

Hard to choose.

Mostly it would be dogs I would be interested in breeding to or are related to my bloodline of choice. Of course speaking of studs it would be interesting to have this wish available to the general public. I would love to see some of these "to valuable to risk in the woods" stud dogs in action somewhere other than the breeding pen.

If you were to remove the living requirement the answer is obvious. WHITEY, Chirpee, Homer's Gomer in that order.

I would like to hunt Skunna River Fred all night from dark till daylight right here in Central KY. Man he is a real TREE DOG on the video.

Posted by Chiggers on 10-04-2005 03:08 AM:

I hunted Skipper one night, He leaves like he is Fired out of a 30-06, runs a track so fast you that you hardly get to hear a track, and trees so hard and loud it will hurt your ears.

Posted by Justin Smith on 10-04-2005 03:17 AM:

I'd like to hunt with one of those sons/grandsons of Woodscreek Loose Bruce that are out west .

And also the PKC hunter who's dog tree 70 some odd coon in two hours ...I think the dog was King Coma bred ?
