Where is the AKC world going to be held?

Posted by 8hawg on 09-28-2005 09:22 PM:

I thought most coonhunters were boycotting AKC, because of there political stance on a proposed bill. Dealing with pet regulation.

8hawg,
I haven't heard anything about anyone boycotting the event. I am sure some won't go, but I am sure several will. Do you think Boycotting it will make a difference? Doubt it.

Doesn't change the fact that I need a ride for a dog.

What ever, not concerned about it one bit. If you only knew what you were talking about.

Ken, Your right it dosen't change the fact that you still need a ride for a dog. I hope you find a ride for that dog. However, back to the boycotting of the AKC world. Yes, I do think it can make a difference. That is my opinion. I think if we all come together and stand together on what we believe to be right or wrong, fair or unfair, just or unjust. We can make the differences on those kinds of things that affect our sport. If we don't stand together, it is possible that one day we won't have our sport. It can be taken from us, a little at a time. Anyway goodluck on finding a ride for your dog.

8hawg,
I fully understand what you are saying. And we all should stand together for our sport. And this includes all the negative stuff that folks sling at each other, especially online. We are all on this forum because of the love for coonhounds. I just do not think that AKC will stand down on the PAWS thing.

I think that if folks would clean up their act toward each other first, that would a great start. I never could understand why someone wants to bash someone they don't even know. I guess I am still trying to figure out what blutickluver's problem is.
