interference ? Jim.
This did not happen to me, but something I was thinking of for some reason, I think someone told me to do this even, but I wouldn't do it on purpose. Dog B is struck in, he is running a rough track, and is thinking about treeing, not sure of his self. Handler of dog A turns his light on and shines it around over that way. You know light is on his head, he says maybe he is looking for a roadway. Dog B locks down on a tree he may never of settled on, most likey slick. Can I as a judge or cast member call the handler A for interference, or at least get a warning on him? Or would that be just whinning? I know someone is going to say, my dog would never do anything like that, please. Thank you.
I believe the judge controls use of the lights. The judge could tell the handler to keep the light down. I don't think you could get the handler scratched in the situation you described.
The judge doesn't control lights in UKC. Except for shining up the tree of a dog that is has been put on the card.
