wildlife with marshall antenna

Does anyone else have a Wildlife tracking system with a Marshall antenna? I have the wildlife 1000 with the marshall antenna. I was thinking i should be able to get more range than what i do. Just wondering if anyone else has any problems with this. Thanks.
